As a Business Development Representative, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships, and driving impactful lead generation campaigns. You'll collaborate closely with sales engineers and marketing teams to expand our footprint and bring our cutting-edge solutions to new clients and markets.
What You Will Be Doing
- Contribute to the definition and execution of Exotec's growth strategy in your region.
- Design and launch targeted lead generation campaigns that resonate with our ideal customers.
- Break into new accounts and territories through strategic outreach and research.
- Conduct ongoing business development activities to uncover new opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects, keeping them informed about Exotec's innovations.
- Qualify inbound leads to assess their fit and potential for Exotec's solutions.
- Initiate first contact with prospects and guide them through the early stages of their project definition.
- Ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities to the sales engineering team.
- Collaborate with marketing to share insights and feedback that enhance campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally in a B2B tech or industrial environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- You are passionate about supply chain and robots.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for uncovering new business opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
- Fluency in Japanese and English are required, additional languages are a plus.
- A collaborative spirit and eagerness to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
